Asus se sprema da lansira na tržište četiri nova modela prema saju Notebook Italia. Prvi najslabiji model nosi oznaku U6S, drugi model malo jači model nosi oznaku F8s, treći model je UMPC Asus R2E .

Nama najzanimljiviji novi model Asusa je svakako G2S Extreme Limited Edition koji poseduje 17-inčni (WUXGA) displej, Intelov Core 2 Duo X7800 procesor koji radi na taktu od 2,6 Ghz, 2 Gb DDR2 RAM, 1 Gb Intel Turbo memorije i 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600 mobile GPU. Pored ovih komponenti poseduje i 200GB HDD, HD DVD/DL DVD burner, analog/digital TV tuner, HDMI-out, 802.11a/g/n i Bluetooth 2.0+EDR.
