Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy
of the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "config.cfg"
file in the game folder.
Near the top you should see the following entry:
AutoAlignPower: 0.99
Simply change the value to "1.0", and auto-align will be completely disabled.
Setting it to "0.0" causes the ship to align the moment you stop moving the
mouse.
If you simply want to reduce (but not eliminate) auto-align,
set the value "0.99x", where x is another number.
Easy Durability:
----------------
Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of
the file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit your character's profile
in the
"dreamcatcher\spaceforce - rogue universe\profiles\\.profile"
file. Find the "Durability" line in the "addship:" section.
Change it from the original value, which will be something like:
Durability: 0.000000 1.000000 0.400000
to:
Durability: 0.000000 1000000.000000 0.400000
This gives your ship a current durability of 1 million, which would last a long enough
time by itself. Better yet, it may stop dropping at all (probably a rounding issue in
the decay math due to the very large value). Note: You will have to do this once again
when you upgrade your ship because you have only edited the value for your current ship.
