Health boost:

Press "M" and Merlin will glow and gain all of his health.
You can continuously press "M" to become virtually invincible.
Have all four spells at start:

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a
backup copy of the file before proceeding. Start a new game
and save it. Do not pick up the first spell. Quit the game
to return to the main menu. Use a text editor to edit the
"merlinsavegame" in the game folder.
At first glance, the contents of the file appear as gibberish.
Look closely and search for a string of letters that read
" #spellsAvailable: [0, 0, 0, 0]". Replace all the "0"
values with a "1". Save the modified file,
start the game, and load it.
